Shikhar Dhawan was in his best, and he scored 113 runs from 107 balls. His innings was comprised of 14 boundaries and 3 maximums.
With the help of 13 boundaries and 2 sixes, Rahane scored, 111 from 108 balls. Suresh Raina also gave ample support in building the innings, and he scored a quick 52 in sky rocketing speed.
Sri Lanka on the other hand failed to build the innings in a steady manner. No players in the side succeeded to score even a fifty, and their top scorer is Mahela Jayawardane who made a struggling 43.
