Kai, the granddaughter of US President-elect Donald Trump, shared her experience witnessing the SpaceX rocket launch with Elon Musk. In a vlog on the social networking sites YouTube and X (previously known as Twitter).
After the 2024 US presidential election, the family traveled to Texas to witness SpaceX’s Starship rocket launch. In the roughly 12-minute vlog, Kai Trump rides in her grandfather’s private jet.
“Watching a Rocket Launch at SpaceX with Elon Musk!” Kai gave her YouTube and X video titles and captions. The vlog shows Kai inside Trump’s private flight. It showcases the luxurious interior with its comfortable white couches, flat-screen TVs, separate bedrooms, and even the cockpit.

Trump – Musk Friendship
Trump has welcomed Musk into his world, as reported by the Associated Press, since winning the US election. Donald Trump and his family’s attendance at the Starship launch was the most visible demonstration. On election night, Musk also joined Trump and his family at the flashy former and future US president’s Mar-a-Lago property.
Kai wrote that Musk was achieving uncle status when sharing a picture of the billionaire on X. The richest man in the world now has “unparalleled access” to the incoming US president.
According to the article, which also stated that Musk spent an estimated $200 million on Trump’s reelection campaign. Musk’s businesses, SpaceX (space) and Tesla (EVs) might gain billions of dollars in government contracts in addition to influence in politics.
Trump has the highest admiration for those who break the law and get away with it, according to William Galston, a senior fellow in governance studies at the Brookings Institution, a think tank with headquarters in Washington, who spoke to Reuters. That is an impressive feat that Musk has accomplished.
Musk and Indian-American pharmaceutical executive Vivek Ramaswamy were named by Trump earlier this month to head the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, or “DOGE.”
