Pakistan seek a massive improvement
Pakistan’s worries for the upcoming hasn’t yet been increased as seven of the key players didn’t play this series. With that being said, Stand-in captain Shoaib Malik will hope that his side will turn the tables by winning the next two matches so that they could walk out of this series with some pride. They are unlikely to make a lot of changes, as they have limited resources but they would be interested in trying out Mohammad Amir once more.
Australia aim historic series whitewash
Australia doesn’t need to change anything as they should be enjoying their current form. After two consecutive years of poor ODI performances, Australia has just hit form at the right time before the World Cup.
They should look at trying some of the players as they have won the series already. Ashton Turner is the front-runner in that list and could be brought in to some rest to Marcus Stoinis or Glenn Maxwell.
The pitch is Dubai generally stays slow and dry but scoring 250+ is not a huge task. The weather would challenge both the sides, especially in the afternoon with the Dubai stadium will be baked in sunshine. Bowlers will good pace and bounce can have an impact on the game with the new ball.
