Kia Sonet Facelift

Price: Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 15.76 lakh (ex-showroom) Release Date: January 12, 2024

The 2024 Kia Sonet received a facelift, featuring a refreshed look and enhanced safety features like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

It now includes a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a 360-degree camera. The Sonet is available with three engine options, including a 120 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol unit.

Hyundai Creta and Creta N Line

Price: Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20.29 lakh (ex-showroom) Creta N Line Price: Rs 16.82 lakh to Rs 20.44 lakh (ex-showroom) Creta Release Date: January 16, 2024 Creta N Line Release Date: March 11, 2024.

Hyundai updated the Creta with both exterior and interior changes. The 2024 Creta now boasts a more powerful 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, sourced from the Verna.

Mahindra Thar Roxx

Price: Rs 13 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom) Release Date: August 15, 2024

Mahindra expanded the Thar lineup with the launch of its 5-door version, the Thar Roxx. This model features design updates, a more modern interior, and amenities like ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless phone charging.

It is available with up to 177 PS/380 Nm 2-litre turbo-petrol and up to 175 PS/370 Nm 2-litre diesel engine options.

Skoda Kylaq

Price: Rs 7.89 lakh to Rs 14.40 lakh (ex-showroom) Release Date: December 2, 2024

Skoda entered the sub-4m SUV segment with the launch of the Kylaq. It is powered by a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Key features include a 10-inch infotainment system, powered and ventilated front-row seats, a single-pane sunroof, and wireless phone charging.

Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6

Mahindra introduced two new electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and the BE 6, built on the carmaker’s ‘INGLO’ platform designed exclusively for electric SUVs. Both models offer two battery options: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh, with a claimed range of up to 682 km.

They come with premium features such as wireless phone charging, powered front seats with ventilation, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and ADAS.

Tata Curvv and Curvv EV

Tata Motors expanded its EV portfolio with the launch of the Punch EV. It features styling tweaks over its ICE-powered counterpart and offers a more upscale cabin with premium features.

Highlights include ventilated front-row seats, a wireless phone charger, a 10.25-inch infotainment system as well as a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. The Punch EV is available with two battery pack options, a 25 kWh and a 35 kWh, providing a claimed range of up to 421 km.
