Pakistani TikToker Imsha Rehman Leaked Video Shared on Social Media

A new controversy has centred on another Pakistani TikToker. Someone has posted a sexual video featuring Imsha Rehman, a Pakistani TikTok star, online. People believe that a data breach caused young TikToker’s private films to be shared on social media.

According to the article, Rehman deleted her TikTok and Instagram accounts following the event. There are more influencers whose videos have gone viral besides Imsha Rehman. Rehman is the second influencer whose video someone released online after someone published an explicit video of another Pakistani influencer.

The controversial video

NDTV reported that people widely circulated videos of Rehman and a friend in uncomfortable positions on Instagram, X (previously Twitter), and WhatsApp. Numerous social media users have criticized the actions of the people who published the video, highlighting the importance of empathy and privacy protection.

Pakistani TikTok sensation Minahil Malik came into the spotlight after someone posted a private video of her and her partner online in October. Some stepped forward to support her, while others thought it was a publicity trick. Mishi Khan, a Pakistani actress, criticized Malik and implied that she might have leaked the footage for publicity. She compared the episode to a scene from the Bollywood movie Heroine, which starred Kareena Kapoor.

“Shameful to see these influencers stooping to the lowest level for fame, disgracing their families, parents, and society,” Khan wrote on Instagram when sharing her thoughts. Someone needs to prohibit their use of social media. After addressing the uproar around the leaked video, Malik departed Instagram. Malik acknowledged the difficulties of her choice in her farewell Instagram post and asked her followers to “spread love.” Since then, she hasn’t shared anything on the site.
