Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s residence in Hyderabad was vandalized by a group of protesters on Sunday. The group, claiming affiliation with the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC), unlawfully entered the actor’s Jubilee Hills home, causing significant damage to the property.
During the time of the vandalism at his residence, Allu Arjun was not at home. He had addressed a press conference the previous day, where he expressed his sorrow and frustration over the tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre
Demands for Justice
The protesters were reportedly demanding justice for a woman who tragically died in a stampede at a movie theatre earlier this month during the screening of Allu Arjun’s latest film, “Pushpa 2”.
The group pelted tomatoes and stones at the residence, damaged ornamental plants, and shouted slogans against the actor. One protester stated, “We demand that Allu Arjun take care of the late Revathi’s family. This is the time for them to stand behind Revathi’s family and be there for Sri Teja”.

Police Intervention
Law enforcement officers arrived promptly at the scene and detained the protesters. The Jubilee Hills Police confirmed that six members of the OUJAC were involved in the incident. Despite the chaos, no formal complaint has been lodged by Allu Arjun’s family as of yet.
Allu Arjun’s Press Conference
During a press conference held on Saturday, Allu Arjun addressed the tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre.
He expressed his sorrow and frustration over the situation, stating, “This was an accident, and I extend my condolences to the family. I don’t want to blame anyone; this feels like character assassination. There’s a lot of misinformation being circulated. I apologize for what has happened. Contrary to rumors, there was no roadshow”.
He also urged his fans to refrain from using abusive language and behavior, both online and offline and warned against misrepresenting his fans with fake IDs.
I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly, as always and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behavior both online and offline. #TeamAA pic.twitter.com/qIocw4uCfk

Political Reactions
The incident has sparked a wave of reactions from political figures. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticised Allu Arjun for attending the theatre despite police withholding permission for the film’s cast to visit the venue.
The Chief Minister’s office released a statement saying, “The actor’s actions were irresponsible and have led to unnecessary chaos and tragedy.”
