Lucid Gravity EV SUV will use a Panasonic battery.
After launching the Lucid Air car in the less competitive luxury sedan sector, Lucid Motors aims for a bigger portion of the electric SUV market with the Lucid Gravity. The Gravity’s remarkable EPA-rated range of up to 450 miles (724 km) attracted notice last month.
According to additional information, gravity’s energy storage system uses cutting-edge lithium-ion batteries from Panasonic Energy, which are up to 40% smaller than traditional batteries. With a huge load capacity of up to 900 gallons (3,400 liters), this space-efficient design makes it possible for a roomier cabin and trunk, making it the perfect option for large American families.
With an energy density of 800 Wh per liter, Panasonic’s state-of-the-art battery technology uses cylindrical lithium-ion cells in the contemporary 2170 shape. One of the first EVs to use this cutting-edge technology, which was created in close cooperation with Lucid and Panasonic, is the Lucid Gravity. Lucid builds the Gravity in their Arizona factory, starting production in December, and Panasonic produces the batteries in Japan.

Genesis GV60 electric SUV gets styling and tech upgrades
To stay competitive as it meets new rivals like the Xpeng G6 and the anticipated Tesla Model Y “Juniper,” the well-liked Genesis GV60 all-electric SUV is receiving a mid-life facelift.
The changes confirmed for Genesis’ somewhat larger GV70 all-electric SUV, which was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year, come just after the GV60 enhancements.
If you look at the new GV60 from the outside, you won’t notice many differences. However, the front bumper has a new three-dimensional shape, the wheel arches are now painted the same color as the rest of the car, the headlights have new technology, and the alloys are 21 inches.
The two lines of LEDs, which are a key component of Genesis’ design language, provide significantly better illumination performance by utilizing so-called “micro-lens arrays (MLA).” The flagship G90 model from Genesis was the first to use the technology.
An entirely new single-screen infotainment system is being installed inside, which is a more noticeable and significant upgrade. The 27-inch “connected car integrated cockpit” seamlessly connects the driver’s information screen and the navigation and entertainment space. To know more, you can read here.
