Indian cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy climbed the steps of the Tirupati temple on his knees after scoring a century against Australia.
The 21-year-old all-rounder, who hails from Visakhapatnam, made this pilgrimage to the famous Sri Venkateswara temple to offer thanks for his impressive performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Upon his return, Nitish visited the Tirupati temple and climbed the stairs on his knees as a mark of devotion. This act of faith was captured in a video that Nitish shared on his Instagram, which quickly went viral.
Devotees often climb the hills to Tirumala to fulfill vows, and Nitish’s gesture was a testament to his gratitude and humility.

Nitish Kumar Reddy made a remarkable debut in the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy, scoring 298 runs and taking five wickets in the five-match series.
His standout performance included a century in the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where he scored 114 runs while batting at the eighth position.
