Love and Adventure: The Unexpected Twist in This New Isekai
While Crunchyroll hosted two anime about isekai and reverse isekai combinations. Recently the new series “Welcome to Japan Ms. Elf!” stands out with a unique way of connecting worlds. The show “Welcome to Japan, Ms Elf!” weaves romance into both worlds which unites them through a common thread.
As reported in Crunchyroll character movement between worlds requires them to fall asleep while unique aspects of this sleep mechanism elevate its impact. The human earthling Kazuhiro Kitase sleeps his way into a magical world where he encounters Mariabelle the elf also known as Marie. When he wakes up each day he returns exclusively to his Earth bedroom. Kazuhiro and Marie sleep together that night in Japan because she holds onto him when he dies in the magical world.
Apart from their special connection Kazuhiro and Marie develop even stronger feelings for each other after joining their worlds. The things Kazuhiro takes with him from Japan into his night dreams stay with him. When he places them on his bedside table before bedtime. He prepares Marie Japanese bento food because she isn’t from his home country but uses this to spend more time with him. Here we see an innovative way to represent how deceased humans bring personal items with them when crossing into the spirit realm.
When Marie mysteriously ends up in Japan their bond takes a different course. Kazuhiro shows her authentic dining by visiting multiple eating places that let Marie try different meals in private settings. Since they began dating Kazuhiro and Marie already rank among anime’s top romantic partnerships.
The importance of romance stands clear through “Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!”. This situation needs complete consideration since its inclusion makes a significant difference. He tells Marie she can return home the same way he did when she settles down and goes to sleep. No one knows for sure yet. He sent Marie to Japan’s dangerous location despite knowing she might end up trapped because of their “dying” accident.
Without trailer spoilers, the two characters face growing conflict over their situation. Because their relationship has mainly been love-based Kazuhiro stands to lose more if Marie shifts the blame for her issues onto him. At present Kazuhiro plays the part of a gallant knight who shows Marie the attractions of her unfamiliar city.
“Ghibli” Fans Rejoice: Miyazaki’s Iconic Car Arrives at the Park
A central Japan Studio Ghibli theme park announced on Wednesday it will show its director Hayao Miyazaki’s former Citroen 2CV car starting this month. The French classic car will appear at Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse within the five themed areas of the park in Nagakute, Aichi Prefecture. The exhibition at the Ghibli Grand Warehouse from January 29 will display Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli. The manga shows how he purchased his Citroen 2CV car for his child’s nursery trips.
As reported in Kyodonews Aichi Governor Hideaki Omura wants Ghibli Park to keep the car forever through our support. A government-theme park combination built the site at the World Expo 2005 location in Nagakute, Aichi Prefecture. Goro Miyazaki announced through his statement that we no longer use the 2CV car. It is because it holds vital memories for our family. The vehicle will remain a valuable part of Ghibli Park’s exhibition forever.
Starting in April the park will sell separate tickets for each area according to Omura’s announcement. One single ticket is used to serve customers for many zones. The Valley of Witches welcomed visitors last March with both “Kiki’s Delivery Service” and “Howl’s Moving Castle.” It marked the end of the five park sections to open. The other sections include Mononoke Village which displays “Princess Mononoke,” the Hill of Youth displaying “Whisper of the Heart” and other titles. It also has Dondoko Forest inspired by “My Neighbor Totoro.”
