According to the Cricbuzz report, Indian skipper Virat Kohli informed at the toss that Vijay Shankar has a toe niggle which is the reason behind him being left out of the side. He also said that India wouldn’t mind chasing a target on this track.Â
The pitch is expected to be good for batting but spinners will get some turn. It was informed that the pitch will offer a bit more turn in the second innings. With both teams being good batting units, it is expected to be a high-scoring match.Â
India has won five matches so far in this tournament with their other match being a washout. They are currently placed in the second position. India needs just one more win to qualify for the semi-finals.
