The Uttar Pradesh government reported that the Maha Kumbh contributed over Rs 3 lakh crore to the state’s economy. Key bathing days like Mauni Amavasya saw an overwhelming 8 crore devotees, while Makar Sankranti drew 3.5 crore pilgrims.
