Priyanka Gandhi Vadra commenced her visit with a stop at the historic Sree Seetha Devi Lava Kusa Temple in Pulpally. Known for its unique dedication to Lava and Kusha, the temple holds immense cultural and spiritual significance.
Later in the day, she visited the Valliyoorkavu Temple in Mananthavady, a revered site dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy, celebrated for its vibrant annual festivals.
Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony at Elstone Estate
A key highlight of her visit was the foundation stone laying ceremony at Elstone Estate in Kalpetta. This event marked the launch of a township project aimed at rehabilitating survivors of the devastating Wayanad landslides.
The project, spanning 65 hectares, includes housing, a health center, and community facilities. Speaking at the event, Priyanka Gandhi emphasized, “This initiative showcases Kerala’s commitment to inclusive development and disaster recovery.”
