Air India Flight Disrupted as Passenger Urinates on Co-Passenger

A shocking incident took place on Air India’s Delhi-Bangkok flight, where a passenger urinated on a co-passenger. The passengers were both travelling in business class, which had a 2 by 2 seating section. After the incident, the victim refused to file a complaint.

AI-2336 had taken off from Delhi around 2 am on Wednesday and landed in Bangkok on April 9. The incident occurred just before landing. Air India confirmed the incident, the crew followed the protocol, and the incident was reported to the authorities.

A similar incident took place on Air India’s New York- Delhi flight in 2022, when a passenger urinated on an elder woman. The passengers were also travelling in business class, the incident sparked outrage, questioning the moral ethics of passengers. The person who urinated was banned from flying AI for 30 days. Delhi Police booked the person who was later arrested. Before this incident, the liquor policy was more lenient but AI updated it’s policy and protocols by giving special training to the cabin crew to identify and manage the cases.
