‘Dragon Ball Z’ Now Streaming in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu

Dokkan Campaign 2025 Launches With SSR Goku & Black

On July 15, 2025, Netflix India officially added the entire “Dragon Ball Z” series to its streaming library, marking a historic moment for anime lovers across the country.

For the first time ever, fans can enjoy the epic Saiyan, Frieza, Cell, and Buu sagas in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu — a major step in making Japanese anime more accessible to regional audiences.

Regional Dub Rollout on Netflix India

The availability of “Dragon Ball Z” in multiple Indian languages is generating buzz across social media platforms like Threads and X. IGN India reports that this release is part of Netflix’s broader push to localize global content:

“Netflix has finally brought the original DBZ to Indian fans — dubbed and ready to relive the nostalgia.”

Fans are already applauding the voice cast and translation quality, noting that the Hindi dub retains much of Goku’s iconic tone and Vegeta’s grit.

Boost for Anime in India

“Dragon Ball Z” has a long-standing fanbase in India dating back to the early 2000s, when it aired on Cartoon Network in English. This official regional-language release reopens the gateway for new audiences and longtime fans to revisit the series legally and easily.

With “Dragon Ball Super” on hiatus until late 2025, Netflix’s DBZ rollout offers the perfect filler arc for Indian viewers eager to rejoin the world of Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza.
