PanAsiaBiz Editorial | Ahmedabad | July 26, 2025 – Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today inaugurated the newly redeveloped Bal Vatika children’s park at Ahmedabad’s iconic Kankaria Lakefront, unveiling a ₹22 crore transformation focused on immersive learning and entertainment for families and school groups.
The upgraded Bal Vatika features a state-of-the-art flying theatre, a lifelike dinosaur park, an interactive wax museum, virtual reality zones, and a fully equipped snow park — making it one of western India’s most diverse urban recreational spaces for children.
“This reimagined Bal Vatika is more than a park — it’s a place where education meets play, and science sparks imagination,” CM Patel said during the inauguration ceremony.
Designed to foster all-round development, the park blends experiential learning with modern infrastructure, aligning with Gujarat’s larger push to promote family-friendly urban amenities and tourism.
