The popular light novel ‘Mugen Gacha’ by Meikyou Shisui and illustrator tef. is finally getting an anime adaptation.

Titled ‘Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon’, the series will premiere in October 2025, animated by renowned studio J.C. Staff, best known for hits like ‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 and ‘Toradora!’.

Plot: Infinite Gacha and the Rise of a Dungeon Survivor

The story follows a weak boy betrayed by his adventuring party and left to die in a forgotten dungeon. But fate intervenes. He gains access to the “Infinite Gacha” skill—a mysterious power that lets him summon items, weapons, and most notably, a harem of Level 9999 girls to aid his quest for revenge.

In a world where betrayal runs deep, this new ability changes everything. The boy transforms from prey to predator, building an unstoppable force to face his enemies and rewrite his destiny.
