Tomar’s initiative aims to raise awareness about helmet use, especially among two-wheeler riders. “If even Lord Ganesha wears a helmet, why shouldn’t we?” he said. “I wanted to create something that speaks to people instantly—and video does that best.”
The idol, securely fastened to a scooter and wearing a helmet, has become a symbol of responsible driving. Locals have praised the effort for combining tradition with civic duty.
Traffic officials have also applauded the campaign. “Creative awareness drives like this help reinforce safety in a relatable way,” said a senior officer from Indore’s traffic department.
The video has sparked conversations online, with users calling it “inspiring,” “innovative,” and “a perfect blend of faith and responsibility.”
Tomar plans to continue the rounds until Visarjan, hoping the viral clip encourages more citizens to prioritize safety. “Festivals are about celebration—but also reflection. If this video makes even one person wear a helmet, it’s worth it,” he added.
