In her first public interview since Saiyaara shattered box office records, Aneet Padda offered a rare glimpse into the emotional undercurrents of her journey.
Speaking to Zoom TV, she revealed that both she and co-star Ahaan Panday broke down in tears on the final day of shooting. “We just sat there, not saying anything. It was like letting go of a part of ourselves,” she said.
The film, which grossed over ₹500 crore globally, marked a turning point not just professionally but personally.
Aneet shared that her grandfather, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, recognized her in the film. “He looked at the screen and said, ‘Makkhan di movie,’” she recalled, visibly moved. “That moment meant more than any award.”
She also spoke about the spiritual support she received from Ahaan, who took her to church to pray before her audition. “He didn’t have to do that. But he did. That’s the kind of person he is,” she said.
The interview, though brief, has sparked a wave of admiration across social media. Fans praised her vulnerability, with one comment reading: “She’s not just a star—she’s a story.”
