‘The White Lotus’ Season 4 Heads to France: Which Hotel Will Host the Drama?

White Lotus Season 4 filming location in France

HBO’s award-winning series “The White Lotus” is officially heading to France for its fourth season, sparking speculation about which luxury hotel will become the next backdrop for betrayal, mystery, and murder.

From Maui to Sicily to Thailand, each season has transformed a real-life Four Seasons resort into the fictional White Lotus hotel.

Now, with France confirmed as the next location, fans and travel insiders are buzzing about which property will be chosen.

Where will ‘White Lotus’ Season 4 be filmed?

According to Deadline, producers are scouting among three Four Seasons hotels in France:

  • Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris
  • Four Seasons Hotel Megève, in the French Alps
  • Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, on the French Riviera

While all three offer cinematic potential, the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat is the leading contender. Its cliffside pool club, Le Club Dauphine, and Mediterranean views align with the show’s beach resort tradition.

Could the Alps break the formula?

The Megève property offers a dramatic Alpine setting, which would be a major departure from the show’s tropical aesthetic.

Fans have floated the idea of a ski-themed season, imagining fur-clad guests and icy secrets. However, producer Mike White is reportedly not fond of cold climates, making this option less likely.

What about Paris?

The George V in Paris would offer an urban twist, with iconic landmarks and high fashion drama.

While it’s not a resort, the idea of a Parisian White Lotus season complete with car chases and couture  has intrigued fans. Still, it would be the furthest departure from the show’s established formula.

With filming set to begin soon, all signs point to the French Riviera as the next playground for “The White Lotus” cast.

Whether it’s scandal by the sea or a surprise alpine twist, one thing’s certain: Season 4 will deliver luxury, chaos, and unforgettable characters.

Will the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat become TV’s next iconic resort?
