Karnataka Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar stepped up today, October 12, 2025,  to address public problems at the Belagavi Gruhakaryalaya. Known for her focus on social welfare, she listened to people from various regions and offered solutions, as shared in her recent tweet.

Laxmi Hebbalkar, a leader from the Indian National Congress, hails from Chikka Hattiholi village in Belagavi.

She holds a Master’s in Political Science from Mysore University and has been Minister of Women and Child Development and Disabled and Senior Citizens Empowerment since 2023.

Today, she met hundreds of locals, tackling issues like water supply and jobs. Her past roles include serving as Belagavi District Congress President from 2010-2015 and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Women’s Wing President in 2015.

Belagavi Governance Strengthens with Minister’s Efforts

Hebbalkar’s current portfolio focuses on empowering women, children, and seniors, a role she took after winning the Belagavi Rural Assembly seat in 2018 and 2023.
