Goa, October 16, 2025: Indian spirits made a bold statement at the Soho India Wine & Spirits Awards 2025, with Paul John Whisky and Malhar Gin clinching top honors.
The event, judged by industry experts and organized by Sonal Holland—India’s only Master of Wine—featured over 400 competing brands across categories.
Paul John Whisky Wins Best Indian Single Malt
Paul John Pedro Ximénez, part of the brand’s Select Cask range, was named Best Indian Single Malt Whisky and also took home the coveted Best in Show title. Matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, this expression impressed judges with its rich flavor and smooth finish.
Additionally, Paul John Oloroso received a Gold Medal in the same category, showcasing the brand’s consistent excellence.
