Cork: A lucky Lotto player in Cork has become Ireland’s newest millionaire after winning the top prize of €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw held on Saturday night. The National Lottery confirmed the win and is urging players to check their tickets carefully.
“Two Overnight Millionaires”
According to a report by EchoLive, a second winner from Dublin also claimed the same prize in the weekend draw. National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said:
“It has been a big weekend for Lotto players nationwide with two players becoming overnight millionaires following Saturday’s Lotto Plus 1 draw. Today we are appealing to Lotto players in both counties to check their tickets very carefully as two people now have tickets worth a life-changing €1m each.”
Winning Numbers
The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 1 draw on November 1 were: 05, 15, 16, 18, 25, 31 and the bonus number was 22.
Store Locations to Be Revealed
The National Lottery confirmed that the winning store locations, including the one in Cork, will be announced on Tuesday. Until then, players are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe.

Winners should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team by calling 1800 666 222 or emailing claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of their prize at Lottery HQ.
Another Cork Win: €200K Scratch Card Surprise
Meanwhile, a Cork woman also won €200,000 from a €10 All Cash Spectacular Scratch Card purchased at Tesco Mahon Point. She shared:
“I completely forgot I had the scratch card until later that evening. I was upstairs when I scratched it and got the shock of my life.”
