In the third and final ODI of the Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
With a 2-0 lead in the series, Pakistan aims to complete a clean sweep while Sri Lanka looks to salvage pride.
Pakistan Makes Four Changes
Captain Shaheen Afridi confirmed four changes to the playing XI. Haseebullah Khan replaces Mohammad Rizwan as wicketkeeper, while Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and Faisal Akram join the bowling attack. Afridi stated, “The wicket in Pindi is good for runs. We’ll try to restrict them today.”
The top order remains strong with Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam, who scored a century in the previous ODI. Haris Rauf continues to lead the pace attack alongside Afridi.
Sri Lanka Shuffles Lineup
With Kusal Mendis out due to illness, Sri Lanka made four changes. Kamindu Mendis and Pavan Rathnayake were added to the middle order.
Pathum Nissanka and Kamil Mishara open the innings, while Maheesh Theekshana and Jeffrey Vandersay handle spin duties.
Captain Kamindu Mendis said, “We’re looking at 320 as a good score. The pitch has cracks and early moisture, so we’ll need to be careful.”
