FedEx Delivers Relief to 200 Cebu Families After Quake

FedEx delivered urgent relief supplies to 200 families in San Remigio, Cebu after a 6.9‑magnitude earthquake displaced over 200,000 households. Partnering with PDRF and JCI Zugbuana, the company provided food, water, and essentials to support recovery.

Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, provided critical relief supplies to support 200 families affected by the recent calamities that struck San Remigio and the surrounding areas in Cebu.

The 6.9-magnitude earthquake, one of the strongest recorded in Cebu, displaced over 200,000 families and caused damage worth almost PHP13 billion (over USD 257 million) to property and infrastructure.

FedEx worked with local non-profit organizations, the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) and the Junior Chamber International Zugbuana, to deliver essential items including bottled water, food, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, and blankets to affected families in San Remigio.
