
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that ticket sales for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will open today at 18:45 IST.
With entry-level prices starting at just ₹100 in India and LKR1000 in Sri Lanka, this edition of the tournament aims to be the most accessible in history, giving millions of fans the chance to experience world-class cricket live in stadiums.
Ticket sales will open today at 18:45 IST at https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com/. Entry-level ticket prices are set at historic lows to make the event more accessible to fans.
In Phase I, ticket prices in India start at ₹100 (approximately $1.11), and in Sri Lanka start at LKR1000 (approximately $3.26). These prices are part of the ICC’s plan to widen access to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The tournament will be played across eight venues from 7 February to 8 March.

Opening matches
The tournament will begin with Pakistan vs the Netherlands in Colombo. Next is West Indies vs Bangladesh in Kolkata. The opening set of marquee clashes will be capped by India vs USA in Mumbai.
Affordable tickets and access
The ICC has lowered one of the main barriers for fans by making tickets highly affordable in Phase I. With prices starting from ₹100 in India and LKR1000 in Sri Lanka, and more than 2 million tickets going on sale, the goal is to democratize the in-stadia experience of ICC events.
