Rising star Sreeleela is making waves in Bollywood with yet another exciting announcement.
The actress, who is awaiting the release of her Hindi debut, “Tu Meri Zindagi Hai”, opposite Kartik Aaryan, has now officially joined the cast of the upcoming fantasy romantic drama, “Choomantar”, starring Abhay Verma.
Replacing Ananya Panday
The film initially had Ananya Panday as the female lead. However, scheduling conflicts with her other project, “Call Me Bae 2”, forced her to step away. The makers quickly turned to Sreeleela, who impressed them during a test photoshoot.
Reports suggest the team is thrilled with her casting, while Sreeleela herself found the role captivating and is eager to dive into the project.
Sreeleela’s Bollywood Journey
Although her Tollywood stint faced challenges, Sreeleela is determined to carve her niche in Hindi cinema. After “Tu Meri Zindagi Hai”, she signed “Diler” with Maddock Films, opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan. With “Choomantar” now added to her lineup, the actress is rapidly building a strong Bollywood portfolio.
About “Choomantar”
The film blends fantasy and romance, promising a fresh pairing of Abhay Verma and Sreeleela. Shooting is expected to begin in January 2026.
