Tokyo– Fans of romantic comedies have reason to celebrate. JUMP COMICS’ hit manga “You and I Are Polar Opposites” has unveiled its fourth anime trailer, along with the announcement of its opening theme song “Lose the frames” performed by rising artist noa. The series is set to stream globally in January 2026.

A Fresh Look at the Rom Com

The new trailer highlights the quirky relationship between Suzuki, an energetic girl who struggles to fit in, and Tani, a quiet boy who speaks his mind without hesitation.

The clip features a heartfelt monologue from Tani, underscoring the emotional tension at the center of the story.

Theme Song by noa

The opening track “Lose the frames” is noa’s first anime theme song. Known for her self-produced music and artistry, noa has already built a massive following with songs like “Any angle”, “My Lovely Killer”, and “1000 Days of Moments”.

Her work has generated more than 6 billion views across social media platforms, making her one of Gen Z’s breakout stars.

In a statement, noa said, “I’m so honored that this work gave me the opportunity to sing my first anime theme song. I connected with the quirky characters as they navigate growing up—I teared up and found myself cheering for them.”

Production and Cast

The anime adaptation is being produced by Lapintrack, the studio behind “Undead Murder Farce”. Directed by Takayoshi Nagatomo, with series composition by Teruko Utsumi, the project brings together a strong creative team.
