Thousands of alumni gathered today at the Government Higher Primary School in Mutaga for a powerful “Guruvandana” and Diamond Jubilee celebration. Karnataka Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar joined the emotional homecoming to honor the educators who shaped generations of local students.

Who were the key figures present?
Prominent local leaders, including Rayanna Obannavar, Kallappa Obannavar, and Maruti Mallavvagola, shared the stage with the Minister. We saw the entire teaching staff and hundreds of villagers participating in the festivities. Absolute unity.
While the government provides 100% of the basic curriculum, nearly 80% of the high-end sports and tech facilities in rural schools now come from successful alumni donations. One specific number to watch: the Diamond Jubilee fund has already targeted three new classroom renovations for the upcoming academic year.
