Robert De Niro visits Anupam Kher and meets many celebrities including Ranbir

The Hollywood legend met his friend and co-stars Anupam Kher at his home in Mumbai and also obliged by visiting Kher’s acting school and spent a few hours.

Niro also met current stars of Bollywood like Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra along with others.

Many Bollywood actors made a beeline to meet the Academy winning Hollywood actor.

The dream of many Bollywood celebrities came true when they met “Raging Bull” actor Robert De Niro.

The 70-year-old star was on his second visit to India after a gap of 35 years. Anupam Kher and Robert De Niro have acted together in last year’s Oscar winning movie “Silver Linings Playbook” and became good friends. De Niro made an impromptu visit to Mumbai on Anupam’s request.

Anupam joked that a couple of teachers almost fainted after seeing Niro with them. Young Bollywood actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Sikandar Kher came down to the school to catch a glimpse of the legendary actor. The actor also enjoyed traditional Kashmiri food prepared by Anupam’s mother and aunt.

While Ranbir was spotted getting an autograph of De Niro, Varun was too busy clicking pictures of others with De Niro.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan had met the “Godfather” actor at the”Think Fest” in Goa about which the actor tweeted later that it was a joy and honor to meet De Niro.
