Actress Shruti Haasan may file complaint on stalker who attacked her at her Mumbai residence

Actress Shruti Haasan, who was attacked by a stalker on Tuesday, November 19, is most likely going to file a police case said sources.

The 27-year-old was staying alone at her Mumbai house when someone rang the bell at 9.30 a.m. Since she was alone, Shruti had opened the door assuming that it may be her maid.

But she found a young man trying to grab her throat and she immediately banged the door close. The man ran away after hurting. But Shruti was shaken by the incident and has been unwell all day.

She is reportedly going to stay at her friend’s house for a while. Late on Tuesday night, Shruti tweeted online that she is doing fine and thanked everybody for the concern.

She refused to talk to the media who tried contacting her on the incident. Her publicist said that the same guy was spotted on the sets of Shruthi’s movie shoot in Filmcity, two days ago.

He tried talking to her and walking with her from her vanity van to the set, asking if she doesn’t recognise him. Seeing this, her staff had pushed him away then.

He was also seen on the sets of her films, “Ramaiya Vastavaiya” and “D-day”. Then they didn’t know that the man was stalking her for a while.
