‘Singh Saab The Great’ box office collections report

Hindi social drama movie “Singh Saab The Great” (SSTG) has released on Nov 22, 2013 across 1500+ screens in India and overseas.

The movie has director Anil Sharma joining hands yet again with his favorite hero Sunny Deol after their hit pairing in “Gadar”.

The movie has Sunny playing an honest collector who takes on the fraudulent officials and tries to get rid of corruption.

The movie collected Rs 5.25 crores on its opening day. The 2nd day collections is expected to be even better due to word of mouth,

Sunny is seen romancing Urvashi Rautela in the film while Amrita Rao is playing the role of a journalist in the film. “Wanted” and “Singham” fame Prakash Raj is playing the role of antagonist in the movie.

The movie is produced by Anuj Sharma with Sangeeta Ahir and distributed by Eros International. Sunny Deol is returning to action movie after a string of comedy movies.

SSTG is one of the most awaited movies of the year. Koimoi gave the movie 3 stars out of 5, praising Sunny Deol and Prakash Raj’s interesting performances. The review recommended it as a must watch but nothing fantastic.

“Singh Saab The Great” is releasing along with Imran Khan-Kareena starrer “Gori Tere Pyaar Mein”.Both have their own audience and are expected to lead box office collections. SSTG is expected to collect approx. Rs 8-10 Crore.
