‘Dhoom 3’ team apologises to Abhishek Bachchan for not inviting him to their event

Apparently actor Abhishek Bachchan was miffed with the ‘Dhoom 3’ team after he hadn’t been invited to the movie promotions.

The actor along with Uday Chopra has appeared in all the ‘Dhoom’ franchise movies till date. But for the third movie, Abhishek has been sidelined with actor Aamir Khan hogging the limelight.

Mid-day newspaper reported that the production team of “Dhoom 3” was very busy with the promotions of the movie that they forgot inviting lead actor Abhishek for a promotional event.

Though Abhishek was upset about the issue, he chose to keep mum on the issue. However, YRF producer, Aditya Chopra and his team who visited him recently, apologised personally for their blunder.

Aamir Khan was highlight of the movie at the first look launch of “Dhoom 3” and did all the talking. A source said that Abhishek was injured on his hand at that time which may be the reason for him being quiet at that time. However the next event which was for the title song launch had Aamir along with co-star Katrina Kaif in attendance. Abhishek, who was in Mumbai, was clueless about the event. So YRF has finally have decided to make amends before it is too late. Hence in recent event all the cast was seen together for the first time.
