Yesterday, a group of 75 people was evacuated in IAF aircraft via Tajikistan.
Rescued Sikhs were seen carrying three copies of their holy book Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with them in a special flight
from Gurudwara Karte Pawan, Kabul, who were further escorted by international forces to IAF aircraft on the ground.
Words of people coming to India
Granthis Dharmendra Singh, Himmat Singh, Kulraj Singh, who were carrying the holy book Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, said they just wanted to leave that place which was once their homeland is now turned into a place filled with fights, murders, and blood. Although they decided with a heavy heart, they had to do that to ensure their safety as soon
as possible.
They saw a lot of firing and fights on their way back due to the declining safety situation at the airport. They are praying for the people’s well being who are still stuck there pursuing their Guru Ki Bani of ਸਰਬੱਤ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ (blessings for everyone).
