Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib Yatra began from September 18, 2021, at around 1:30 PM with a new set of guidelines. Devotees participated in the Hemkunt Sahib Yatra in Chamoli district with only 1000 thousand devotees allowed in a single day.

In the view of the Covid-19 pandemic, only one thousand devotees are allowed to visit the Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib in a day. The devotees visiting should have a negative RT-PCR report which is not older than seventy-two hours, with the double doses of vaccination.
This gurudwara was closed in October last year due to the global pandemic. The devotees won’t be able to take bath in the Kund of Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib.
All the devotees have to follow strict guidelines issued by the Uttarakhand government.
- • If any individual will be found without the proof then he/she will be stopped from going ahead in this religious tour.
- • The people below the age of 10 years and above the age of 60 years should avoid traveling.
- • People should wear masks and sanitize their hands frequently during travel.
The devotees coming from other states will have to register their details on the smart city web portal. All the devotees will have to register themselves at Rishikesh Gurudwara Trust offices.
