Kapil Sharma wishes best for Sunil Grover’s ‘Mad in India’

Seems like the stand-up comedian who skyrocketed in popularity with his show “Comedy nights With Kapil” had no ill feeling towards his rival.

Kapil Sharma, who gained fame slowly and became undisputed king of late night weekend slot received a blow when his friend Sunil Grover opted out of the show.

Sunil received fame playing the role of ‘Guthi’ and Colors channel was at loggerheads with the actor over rights to the character. Sunil meanwhile chose to re-launch himself as Chutki in the rival channel Star Plus.

The show “Mad in India” premiered on Feb 16 Sunday night at 9 PM. Kapil’s show airs at 10 PM. Though there is no direct competition of slots, people still were waiting for Kapil’s reaction.

But contrary to everyone’s opinion, Kapil was seen wishing the best for Sunil on Twitter.

 

Grover’s show “Mad in India” had Yoga guru Baba Ramdev as the first guest on the show and is hosted by popular anchor Manish Paul. However the show fell short of expectations and failed to impress the audience.

However Comedy nights was also not behind the competition and slotted the much awaited wedding episode of Pinky Bua. Actors Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan were celebrity guests on the show.
