Actor Rajinikanth received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award from Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at the 67th National Film Awards felicitation ceremony on Monday, October 25 in Delhi.
After receiving the Award, Rajinikanth met President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. He and his wife, Latha Rajinikanth, are seen posing with the President and the Prime Minister.
The superstar shared pictures from the meetings on his social media profiles. The photos of the meet with the President and the Prime Minister went viral on social media.

Rajinikanth dedicated his Dadasaheb Phalke Award to his mentor K Balachander and his brother Sathyanarayana Rao Gaekwad, his bus driver friend.

Rajini’s upcoming Tamil-action drama film “Annaatthe” stars Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, and Keerthy Suresh.
Rajinikanth’s son-in-law, Dhanush, won the National Film Award in the Best Actor category for the performance in the Tamil movie “Asuran.”
He was seen holding his wife Aishwarya’s hand. He posted the photos on his Instagram handle. He captioned the pictures, “I am happy that I met the President and the Prime Minister and received their congratulatory messages.”
