Sonakshi Sinha refuses role in Aishwarya Rai's come back movie

No matter what is the stature of an actress in Bollywood, but once she gets married or for that matter gives birth to a baby, second coming in the industry becomes a little difficult if not all that impossible.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is undergoing that stage and is trying to come back through Mani Ratnam’s film. The news of the same is doing rounds of the web for quite some time and is in the news again as Sonakshi Sinha refused to work in the movie, reports India TV News, on February 19, 2014.

Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited film is also deemed as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s come-back film wherein Mani wanted Sonakshi to play the third lead after Aishwarya and Shruti Haasan.

However, the “Dabangg” actress refused the offer and it was prior work engagements and her busy schedule that Sonakshi gave as the reasons for her denial.

Mani Ratnam’s film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as protagonist together with some of the prominent stars of the south including Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu. Mani Ratnam even met Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, and discussed her role but to no avail.

The fact worth noticing here is that Ash hasn’t appeared on the screen for the last three years and I don’t know what it is with Bollywood that it hasn’t accepted the second coming of an actress no matter who she is and what her stature earlier was.

Therefore, second coming will be a tough job for Ash and we just keep our fingers crossed to see how she starts her second innings in Bollywood. We wish everything goes well with Ash and her new film.
