Actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan and two others were released from Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail on October 30, 2021. The release was two days after the Bombay High Court granted him bail in connection with the drugs-on-cruise case.

Aryan Khan, along with co-accused Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant, was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Thursday.
Khan was represented by Mukul Rohatgi, the former advocate general of India, for his bail application.

Aryan has been in custody since October 3, after his arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau under the NDPS Act.

Aryan spent 27 nights at the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai, where he and the other accused were lodged. Heavy security and media presence was seen outside the jail as Aryan Khan walked out of jail around 11: AM. He hurriedly sat in a white SUV and was driven away.
Karuna Nandy, Senior Lawyer tweeted on #AryanKhan’s arrest in the drugs-on-cruise case. “If you accuse someone of such a serious offense and detain them, there has to be really strong evidence.”
