I visited the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Dog Training center in Bengaluru this morning & witnessed the techniques in which dogs are trained.
The famous breed of Belgian Shepherd Malinois undergo a training program here in order to be inducted into the canine squad.
These four legged soldiers are a part of many law enforcement & army squads as they aid Jawans in safeguarding our National Security
14 DG discs have been awarded to brave K9s!
More than 4000 Kg explosives have been recovered, 15 Naxals arrested & 92 kg drugs seized!
They also contribute to counter-insurgency operations in which the central forces are engaged.
K9 dogs also act as an effective force multiplier during operations.
Forming an integral part of the police and security forces of the country, they are our assets.
