“Matrix Resurrection” is the upcoming movie of the blockbuster Matrix franchise starring Keanu Reeves.
It will release on December 22, 2021.
The trailer dropped three months ago. It had many exciting bits and talented actors with previous movie characters.
The movie premiere was held in San Francisco, attended by the star cast and director of the film, Lana Wachowski.
The Star Cast and old characters with new stars
The trailer dropped by “Warner Bros” production showcased a blue and red pill that Keanu Reeves took.
The trailer had the beloved star Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss, who reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity.
The second and third films, “Revolution” and “Reloaded,” had Noibe played by Jada Pinkett Smith, who comes back in this film too.
Laurence Fishburne, who made the role iconic in the original trilogy, is replaced by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II Morpheus; Agent Smith, played by Hugo Weaving, has been recast with Jonathan Groff. Neo’s therapist is an addition to the cast, played by Neil Patrick Harris.
Priyanka Chopra plays the adult Sita in the new movie.

The 39-year-old actress came six years before the buzzing Hollywood. An already established actress in Bollywood, she ventured into this hard journey without the ace of her Bollywood stardom.
At the premiere of “Matrix Resurrection,” she wore an elegant multicolored gown remarking her dress to show the colors of her character in the movie.
She said in an interaction with NDTV and commenting on her Hollywood journey and South Asian representation in the west, she said
“Few of us South Asians, like Mindy Kaling, Aziz Ansari, Hasan Minhaj, and Riz Ahmed, where we have pushed the envelope, where the door has been kicked open, and we have demanded a seat on the table.”
She started her Hollywood career with the “Quantico” series in 2015. She then shared the screen with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in “Baywatch.”
Furthermore, she is currently shooting for her upcoming series “Citadel” with Richard Maden and Russo Brothers.
Not to forget her awaited Bollywood comeback film with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt’s “Jee Le Zaraa” by Farhan Akhtar.
