Christopher Nolan is setting the stage for another masterpiece as Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, and Rami Malek join the cast of “Oppenheimer”.
The movie would be about J.Robert Oppenheimer, the American theoretical physicist who is credited among those titled “father of the atomic bomb”.
The film will go on the floors on July 21, 2023.
The premise of ‘Oppenheimer
“Oppenheimer” is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J Robert Oppenheimer” by Kai Bird and Martin J Sherwin. The movie would be released under the banner of Universal Pictures.
The director and writer of the movie would be executed by Christopher Nolan. It would be produced by Nolan’s wife, Emma Thomas and Charles Roven of Atlas Entertainment.
The celebrated director has got the taste of many commercially and critically acclaimed movies. Some of them are namely “Interstellar” and “Batman: The Dark Knight” and not to forget “Inception”
The movie would bring the premise of World War || to the screen. Oppenheimer was the wartime head of the Los Alamos Laboratory. Oppenheimer was among those who observed the Trinity test in New Mexico, where the first atomic bomb was successfully detonated on July 16, 1945.
The story will cover the brilliant physicist personal life and many acquired achievements.

Cillian Murphy will be playing the lead famous Physicist, Oppenheimer.
On-and-off girlfriend of Oppenheimer who was the reason for his security concerns would be played by Florence Pugh. The Oscar-nominated actress starred in “Black Widow” opposite Scarlet Johansson.
Robert Downey Jr would be playing the role of Lewis Strauss. He was the chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission and had angst towards Oppenheimer as he questioned his loyalty to the country and revoked his security clearance.
Rami Malek famous for “Bohemian Rhapsody” will also play a scientist.
All in one, this movie is packed with talented actors and brilliant direction and it would be a must-watch for all the cinema fans.
