Deepika Padukone will participate in the Cannes Film Festival’s competition jury this year. The Palme d’Or winner will be chosen by a jury consisting of five men and four women.
Deepika is a member of the Cannes Film Festival’s 75th edition competition jury, alongside actress Rebecca Hall and Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi. She is a member of the eight-person jury that will award the prestigious Palme d’Or to one of the 21 films in consideration during the festival’s concluding event on May 28.
Deepika Padukone, the Bollywood diva, has arrived in Cannes to sit on the jury of the prominent film festival.

Deepika posted a clip to her Instagram account on Monday evening. A comfortably attired Deepika is seen at the airport in the video. Deepika looks stunning in the video, dressed in a white t-shirt and blue denim trousers wrapped with a blue jacket. The actress accented her appearance with sunglasses and a brown handbag, highlighting her no-makeup look. We get a glimpse of Cannes, soaked in daylight, as she cites her 11-hour ride.

Deepika can be seen near the end of the video debating whether she should eat or sleep. “Eating is definitely a good strategy,” the actor says about eating. “From Cannes, with love,” reads a message at the end of the video.
There is a lot in her plate in movies too as Deepika is busy filming a number of projects, notably Nag Ashwin’s Project K, Amitabh Bachchan’s Hindi version of The Intern, Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan, plus Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
