'Stranger Things' Season 4 Volume 2: Edge-of-the-seat finale goes beyond expectations

The surprising, heartbreaking conclusion of “Stranger Things” season 4 has been delivered in two massive, feature-length episodes.

It’s worth mentioning that there are still a lot of loose ends for the show’s next fifth season to tie up, including people who are in danger, unfinished storylines, and unresolved issues.

However, what we did receive was a gut-punching season finale that successfully and frequently tragically concluded the main plot of season 4.

We now realize why Will Byers star Noah Schnapp posted the words “Happy Stranger Things climax” before the final release episodes, and it’s safe to say it wasn’t an exaggeration.

There is no need to be concerned that the series may end abruptly. Season 4 would be “the start of the end,” according to Netflix as well as the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, who announced the renewal of the series back in February.

They said that the entire Stranger Things story arc was mapped out seven years ago. They anticipated the story would go for 4 to 5 seasons at the time. They were unable to tell it in four, but as you’ll soon witness, they are rapidly approaching our conclusion. Season 5 will be the final season, with Season 4 serving as the penultimate season.

The actual release date for the new season is still unknown, but given that it hasn’t even begun production and the enormous amount of work that goes into it, we’d think it could be a few years away.

Additionally, it appears that season 5 will be somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster, similar to the previous seasons. According to Ross Duffer, when the creators proposed the last installment to Netflix, they received a positive response. Yes, it was challenging. The narrative comes to a close. It was crazy to witness executives cry who I had never seen cry before.

Although the Stranger Things season 5 cast has not yet been officially announced, it is anticipated that all of the core characters who have survived will return. This features the evil Vecna, who was vanquished in the finale episode but is undoubtedly planning a comeback.

Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine) & Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn), both of whom suffered their deaths in season 4, are two main characters who probably won’t return for more. Sadie Sink’s Max is the one whose future was left with greater uncertainty; she is now in a coma, and doctors are unsure if she will ever wake up. But if we had to guess, we’d say that she’ll still be back for season 5 in some capacity, as reported by radiotimes.
