Background story :
Nupur Sharma, the suspended BJP spokesperson, in a television debate placed her remark on the Prophet Mohammad, which has outraged the whole of the Islamic community.
After getting suspended from the party, she has taken back her remark and has apologized for hurting any religious sentiments, in her recent post on social media.
This has not only gained a national criticism but many Islamic countries have also claimed their hurt sentiments regarding the remark on the prophet and thus Nupur Sharma has been receiving rape and death threats from all over the world.
Recently, a tailor’s murder in Udaipur caught the eye when two men, avenged the remark on the prophet by murdering a tailor who supported Nupur Sharma. The two main accused were caught by the police. This, not only resulted in innocent killings but has also triggered communal tension in the state.
