Anushka Sharma not pleased over link-up with Sidhartha Mallya

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is not pleased over reports of her link-up with Kingfisher Beer owner Vijay Mallya’s son Sidhartha Mallya.

The “Rab ne Bana di Jodi” star was displeased over a story published in a reputed tabloid, titled “Is love in the air, Sid”.

Her spokesperson clarifies that it was incorrectly mentioned at the end of the article that Anushka was not available for comment as no one from the publication got in touch with Anushka, her spokesperson or anyone else from her team.

The spokesperson added that it was appalling that while Sidhartha Mallya was spoken to and his version carried in the story, the journalist chose to go ahead and print the article without taking Anushka’s perspective.

Anushka Sharma claims the story to be completely untrue and baseless and her spokesperson appealed to the other media houses by requesting to refrain from carrying a false story based on the article.

Anushka is currently shooting for Hindi movies “PK” and “Bombay Velvet” which are scheduled to be released in 2014.

“Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola” was her last film opposite Imran Khan.
