Royal Challengers Bangalore won their second consecutive match over defending champions Mumbai Indians by seven wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Bowling first, the RCB bowlers restricted Mumbai Indians to 115 for nine wickets in 20 overs.
After initial hiccup of losing three wickets in succession early RCB had AB de Villiers (42 not out) and Parthiv Patel (45 not out) adding 80 runs, guiding the team to 116 for three wickets in 18 overs. Parthiv and de Villiers batted with patience, giving the second successive loss of Mumbai Indians this season.
