Bigg Boss 8 teaser featuring Salman Khan released; so who are participating?

The wait is over and all Salman Khan fans can heave a sigh of breath. The superstar is after all back once again this year as the host of the reality show Bigg Boss.

After months of speculation of will-he or will-he-not host Bigg Boss 8, Salman Khan has finally appeared in a teaser for eighth season of the show. The highly entertaining show which comes for three months on TV is going to start in the second week of September and will last till the end of December.

The first preview of the teaser of Bigg Boss 8, Salman is dressed up in a captain’s costume in an airplane which says, ‘Coming Soon’. Last year the actor was dressed in two roles of angel and devil giving a glimpse of what to expect from the show.

A source told DNA that this year; the ‘Bigg Boss’ house is going to be designed like an aircraft giving the house inmates an ‘airplane’ feel. This is the reason behind Salman’s pilot getup. This is the fifth time that Salman is hosting the popular reality TV show which was also hosted in the past by Arshad Warsi and Amitabh Bachchan.

The promo confirms that Salman is indeed the host for Season 8 of the show, quite in contrast to his earlier statement that he is not sure if he would continue hosting the show. The channel has managed to convince the Salman, who was miffed last year after some twitter accused him of being partial.

Speculations are rife that the show will have a contestant from LGBT community like previous years. Names of celebrities so far that have cropped up include model-turned-actor Upen Patel of “Namastey London” fame, Ruslaan Mumtaz, television actors Nausheen Ali Sardar, Shveta Salve, KarishmaTanna, GauravChopraa and NarayaniShastri.
