After the publication of My Hero Academia Chapter 362, fans were left in a state of genuine despair. Only a few hours earlier, the new chapter was released, bringing readers the worst imaginable news. Although nothing is certain at this time, the events of this chapter may spell the end for a significant character in the franchise. Is this the final chapter for one of the series’ most recognisable figures? What chance do the heroes have against Shigaraki? I highly recommend reading on to find out what happens in My Hero Academia Chapter 362.
Recap of Chapter 361
Mirio, after rescuing Bakugo, made fun of Shigaraki/AFO for being alone. Because of this, Tenko Shimura, the body’s third consciousness, woke awake. The youngster took over the body to shout that he did have pals, and AFO realised he might not always be in control of his own body. Instead of wasting time battling Mirio, AFO went for Bakugo again, who was now under Best Jeanist’s protection. Hado used her energy beams to divert the villain’s attention.
Nejire had a memory of becoming Tamaki’s buddy after the villain got a grip on her, during which she said that only Tamaki could assist them now. Mirio and Nejire were sure that Tamaki would be able to beat the villain with his incredible new move because he had eaten numerous meals before coming to the fight. In the last moments of the chapter, Tamaki was practising his new super move. Light Fades to Rain is the title of Chapter 362 in My Hero Academia.
Spoilers for chapter 362
In the opening moments of My Hero Academia Chapter 362, Tamaki is shown practising his final move, praying that it would not fail and so saving the world. He begins to reflect on all the acclaim he’s earned from those closest to him. The words of Fat Gum, Kirishima, Tetsutetsu, and Mirio are like gems to Tamaki. He unleashes an enormous Vast Hybrid: Plasma Cannon that engulfs Shigaraki’s body.
Despite the attack’s best efforts, Shigaraki/AFO only seems to have been pushed a little amount. Smoke from the explosion begins to clear, and Nejire is startled to realise that Shigaraki is completely unharmed. The villain insulted the Big Three, telling them an attack like that would not have damaged All Might in his heyday, thus it definitely did not impact him.
Bakugo’s determination
My Hero Academia Chapter 362 goes on to show that Bakugo starts marching towards the enemy once he finds his companions in peril, requesting Best Jeanist to take care of his pals. Bakugo is talking to his fictitious teammate Izuku the whole way there. The young Hero vanished in an instant as Best Jeanist tried to stop him by utilising his explosive Quirk. Shigaraki tries to assault Bakugo but the youthful hero evades him by anticipating his actions. Bakugo is travelling at an extraordinary pace, which is explained as a side effect of his Cluster super ability. As he was collecting perspiration all over his body, his gland started to emit little bursts to alleviate the strain. Bakugo takes damage with every step, but he also gains incredible speed.
The way Bakugo sees it, this is the kind of battle Izuku had to engage in to get One For All for the first time. As he battles, he wonders if he will ever be as powerful as his closest friend. After witnessing Bakugo’s battle prowess, Shigaraki/AFO is beginning to feel fearful due to memories of the second One for All user. In his rage, the villain launches a powerful assault that Bakugo is unable to dodge, he only stares at the villain.
My Hero Academia Chapter 362 continues within Bakugo’s mindscape, as he confronts a glimpse of All Might. When they first met, Bakugo was just a delinquent going through a hard patch, as he recalls. When he and Izuku were youngsters, they acquired an All Might card, and he wishes he had requested the top Hero to sign it. As a constant reminder of his close bond with Deku, he seemingly never left home without it. The Big Three, back on Earth, are racing to reach Bakugo before Shigaraki can finish him off. Unfortunately, no one can get to the youngster in time to prevent him from crashing to the floor.
When Best Jeanist reaches out to grab Bakugo, he is startled by an unexpected development. Shigaraki, recalling their first meeting, verifies that Bakugo’s fighting technique shifted. The antagonist makes the sarcastic remark that he is the ultimate boss and that the heroes present are helpless against him. The impending rain has Bakugo’s mother worried; she claims her son dislikes wet weather. Best Jeanist, meantime, shouts that Bakugo’s heart has been damaged. Chapter 362 of My Hero Academia left Bakugo on the ground with a gaping wound in his chest and his All Might card in tatters.
Any Bakugo enthusiast will find Chapter 362 of My Hero Academia to be a trying experience. After the chapter’s spoilers were released, many readers believed that Bakugo might be saved if his heart had just ceased beating. Reading this passage, however, one would conclude that Shigaraki fatally stabbed the young guy in the chest. Seeing the other Heroes who battled alongside Bakugo in pain is awful. Even though it’s highly improbable that Bakugo’s parents know what happened to their kid, it appears that they at least realise something is wrong. Seeing the typically lively young man lying on the ground with his eyes slowly losing focus is tremendously disturbing to his teammates, whose anguish is evident.
The fallen All Might card seems like a terrible omen as well as if it were trying to tell him that his hopes of becoming an All Might be for nought. There will be no updates on Bakugo for at least two weeks, as all issues of Shonen Jump will go on hiatus beginning next week. We can only hold out hope that Katsuki will make it, and pray that Deku will come to the rescue of his buddies as quickly as possible.
