Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday’s ‘Liger’ Song ‘Aafat’ Leaves Netizens Embarrassed: ‘I Need A Dislike Button’ – Entertainment

SVijay Deverakonda’s Liger has caught the internet’s attention once more. The film led by Vijay and Ananya Pandey is an anticipated release in 2022, marking the South actor’s Bollywood debut. The makers recently dropped a new song from the film titled Aafat, however, the music video has many worried about Indian music, while others were left unimpressed that the star’s moves.

The action film helmed by Puri Jagannadh will see Vijay as a street fighter while Ananya plays his love interest. The song shows their sizzling chemistry with steamy scenes and they spent time by the beach. The poppy number also has the couple dancing to the chores at different locations. The song is crooned by Tanishk Bagchi and Zahrah Khan but left fans unimpressed by the music, lyrics and dance moves.

Many fans reacted to the music video shared by the Instagram account of Karan Johar’s production house Drama Productions. One user wrote, “What? Dharma production always gives good songs recently Shershaah, Gehraiyaan also had some good songs but this movie has released 2 songs both are not up to the mark expected from Dharma movies.” Another netizen commented, “Oh God… How embarrassing this is.”

Some fans said they had high expectations from Dharma productions but the new song disappointed them. One comment added, “Really disappointed… I was expecting something very good. The movie looks so good and the song is not at all complementing so far.”

Vijay and Ananya have been making headlines as they promote the film across major Indian cities and on TV shows. Liger marks their first project together. The two were last seen on Karna Johar’s show Koffee With Karan season 7 and had great chemistry on the chat show.

Liger is set to release on August 25, 2022, on the big screens in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
