German car manufacturer Volkswagen today launched a new and improved model of its one of the most appreciated cars Vento in India on Sept 24, 2014.
This mid-sized sedan is launched in much awaited diesel version. The launch was done keeping in mind the aim of increasing their share in the Indian market.
The ex-showroom prices are declared starting from Rs.7.44 Lakhs and reaching up to 10.49 Lakhs. Check the complete details at the official website here.
It is not just the diesel version which is different, but there are many other new additions like the introduction of 7-speed dual clutch with DSG automatic transmission along with dual airbags in front which are given keeping security on high priority.
The launch was followed by the statements given by Michael Mayer, Director of Volkswagen Group India for passenger cars.
Michael announced that this new model will remain at the forefront due to the use of leading technologies which they have provided to their Indian customers as well as to the customers abroad.
He proudly shared that Volkswagen have always taken deep care of safety, build quality and driving subtleties and in this new facelift model also, these factors are well inculcated.
Currently, Volkswagen is known in Indian market for their cars like Polo, Jetta and Vento whose facelift model is launched now.
The company has further plans of launching SUVs as the scope for them in Indian market is growing rapidly and also worldwide due to the space they provide.
Over the next coming years, the company is looking forward to launch one new model every year.
